Did You Know?
In addition to the retreats and programs offered by our Spiritual Growth staff, the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth welcomes Catholic and other ecumenical groups who are looking for a beautiful setting to conduct their own group meetings.
Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty,
my memory, my understanding
and my entire will,
All I have and call my own.
You have given all to me.
To you, Lord, I return it.
Everything is yours; do with it what you will.
Give me only your love and your grace,
That is enough for me.

Healing Encounters: A Weekend Retreat for Everyone,
in the Company of Contemporary and Biblical Women
A Weekend Retreat with Christine Eberle
We all stand in need of healing. As earthen vessels, our fragile bodies, minds, and spirits long for the soothing touch of our loving creator. But how do we press in? How do we open ourselves to the kind of encounter that enables genuine transformation? And what does healing look like? On this retreat we will pray with stories of women—biblical and contemporary—who experienced healing in different ways, and lean in to our own encounter with Jesus. The retreat incorporates a balance of presentation, reflection, stillness, and conversation, and will include a healing service. All are welcome.
Arrival is on Friday between 4:00 & 5:45 PM, followed by dinner and the opening session; departure is on Sunday at 2:00 PM. Cost is $240 ($120 non-refundable deposit).
Christine Eberle is the author of Finding God in Ordinary Time, a collection of daily meditations based on true stories (Green Writers Press, September 2018). Currently the Director of Campus Ministry at Gwynedd Mercy University, Christine has spent the last 25 years in campus ministry asking her favorite question — Where is God in all this? —and listening for answers in surprising places.
Beyond the campus, Christine performs dramatic monologues of women in Scripture, offers talks and retreats, and cantors for her parish. She is a passionate explorer of the connections between Scripture, spirituality, and everyday life.
